In 2011, the railway line between Passau and Freyung that had once been suspended was put back into operation.
Since then, every year from May to October, the ITB reliably brings countless travellers coming from near and far from Passau through the wildly romantic Ilztal & Dreiburgenland regions into “the forest” and back again every Saturday and Sunday.

This building was brought up to the standard of a low energy house through appropriate insulation on the facade, terrace and on the flat roof as well as through the use of innovative glass elements.
With the help of vacuum insulation and alu-panelled PUR insulation elements this insulation system of only 5 cm thickness replaced the already existing 5 cm thick EPS insulation.

Dieses Objekt wurde durch das Aufbringen von entsprechender Wärmedämmung an der Fassade, Terrasse und am Flachdach, sowie durch den Einsatz von innovativen Glaselementen auf den Standard eines Niedrigenergiehauses gebracht.
Mit Hilfe der Vakuumdämmung und Alu kaschierten PUR Dämmelementen wurde mit diesem nur 5 cm dicken Dämmsystem die vorhandene 5 cm dicke EPS Dämmung ersetzt.
