Zuständig für die Anträge bzw. Genehmigungen sind nach § 46, 47 StVO die Straßenverkehrsbehörden, in deren Bezirk die Ladung aufgenommen wird oder der Antragsteller seinen Sitz oder seine Zweitniederlassung hat.
Bei grenzüberschreitenden Transporten sind Anträge an die für den Grenzübergang zuständige Straßenverkehrsbehörde zu stellen.

In the case of cross-border transportation, applications are to be made to the road traffic authority responsible for the border crossing point.
