Einführung
Das Zentrosom und autosomale rezessive primäre Mikrozephalie Autosomal rezessive primäre Mikrozephalie ( MCPH ) ist eine neurologische Entwicklungsstörung, die durch zwei wesentliche Merkmale, Mikrozephalie bei der Geburt und eine leichte oder moderate mentale Retardierung gekennzeichnet wird.
Der Kopfumfang der Patienten entspricht einem Entwicklungsrückstand von mehr als drei Jahre, basiert auf ein kleineres Hirn, dessen innerer Aufbau völlig normal ist.

The centrosome and autosomal recessive primary microcephaly Autosomal recessive primary microcephaly ( MCPH ) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by reduced head circumference of more than 3 SDs below the age- and sex-related mean associated with mild to moderate mental retardation.
The reduced head circumference is due to a small but architecturally normal cerebral cortex.

Zusätzlich werden auch Mikrozephalie, Schwachsinn, Chorioretinitis, Glaukome, Mikrophtalmie und Zahnmissbildungen diagnostiziert.
Im 2. und 3. Trimester ist das Risiko für die Entstehung von Missbildungen beim Fetus klein ( etwa 10 % ).

In addition microcephalia, mental deficiency, chorioretinitis, glaucoma, microphtalmia and dental abnormalities are also diagnosed.
In the 2nd and 3rd trimesters the risk for the appearance of fetal abnormalities are smaller ( roughly 10 % ).
