In Fragen mit Präposition + whom verwenden wir die Präposition meist am Satzanfang, vor whom.
Example:

If we use whom in a sentence with a preposition, the preposition often comes before the word whom.
Example:
english.lingolia.comThese are my friends who I spend a lot of time with.Das sind meine Freunde, mit denen ich viel Zeit verbringe.
Verwenden wir jedoch die förmlichere Version mit whom, steht die Präposition auch im Englischen am Anfang des Relativsatzes.
Beispiel:
english.lingolia.comThese are my friends who I spend a lot of time with.
If, however, we are using the more formal version with whom, then the preposition comes at the beginning of the relative clause.
Example:
english.lingolia.comIn der Alltagssprache verwenden wir who für Subjekt und Objekt.
In der gehobeneren Sprache gilt es jedoch als stilistisch besser, in der Frage nach dem Objekt whom zu verwenden.
Example:
english.lingolia.comIn colloquial language, who is commonly used both as subject and object.
In formal language, however, it is still considered more correct to say whom when referring to the object of a sentence.
