Unterschiede in der Verteilung von Krankheitsrisiken und Gesundheitschancen, welche sozial- und umweltbedingt sind, werden in der internationalen Literatur unter dem Begriff «gesundheitliche Ungleichheit» bzw. «Health Inequalities» zusammen gefasst.
