Um deren genaue Funktionsweise aufzuklären, analysiert die Forschergruppe „Biogenic amines in insects:
coordination of physiological processes and behaviour“ das vergleichsweise einfach aufgebaute Nervensystem verschiedener Insektenarten – etwa von Honigbiene und Heuschrecke.

In order to clarify the way they work precisely, the Research Unit “Biogenic amines in insects:
coordination of physiological processes and behaviour” analyses the comparatively simple nervous systems of different types of insects, such as the honeybee and the grasshopper.
