Zunächst als Raplabel gestartet, hat es sich im Laufe der Jahre einen Namen als eines der weltweit spannendsten Labels für instrumentalen Hip Hop gemacht.
Nachdem Olan O'Brien im Jahre 2005 Mike Slott und ein bisschen später Hudson Mohawke kennenlernte und mit ihm die radikale und inspirierenden Sounds junger Musiker aus Glasgow änderte sich die Ausrichtung des Labels.
