Bei ihren zweiten Olympischen Spielen reichte es nun für die Innsbruckerin Nina Reithmayer endlich zur erhofften Medaille.
Der sympathischen Tirolerin ist es im Eiskanal von Whistler Mountain gelungen, die deutsche Übermacht im Damen-Rodeln zu durchbrechen und mit der Silbermedaille die Tradition großer Tiroler Rodel-Erfolge fortzusetzen.

In her second Olympic Games, Nina Reithmayer from Innsbruck managed to capture a silver medal in the women ’ s single luge.
With her superb ride at Whistler ’ s Sliding Center the likeable Tirolean prevented the German team from taking another clean podium sweep, and continued Tirol ’ s tradition of silver medals in luge.
