The film ‘Concerning Violence – Nine Scenes from the Anti-Imperialistic Self-Defence’ is a courageous documentary about the African liberation movements of the 60s and 70s.
Newly discovered archive material covering the violent confrontation with colonial power is combined with quotes taken from ‘The Wretched of the Earth’ by Frantz Fanon, which are voiced by Lauryn Hill.
