Zeitgleich mit der Stützmauer im Westen des Plateaus wurde bis 1912 eine zweite hochmoderne Anlage mit fünf Öfen à 60 Tonnen errichtet.
Sie bestand aus einer Gaserzeugerhalle, in der das zur Beheizung benötigte Generatorgas erzeugt wurde, einer Ofenhalle und einer Gießhalle mit einer Länge von 120 m.
Dazu kam eine Mischerhalle für die Roheisenmischer, große Lagergefäße, die in Stahlwerken zur Zwischenlagerung des Roheisens sowie zum Ausgleich von Qualitäts- und Produktionsschwankungen dienten.
