Das Kongress-Highlight des Jahres bildete die Jahrestagung der renommierten European Society of Cardiology ( ESC ) mit rd. 30.000 Teilnehmern, die bereits zum dritten Mal in München stattfand.
Für die Jahre 2014-16 konnte die Messe München im internationalen Wettbewerb weitere europäische Medizinkongresse akquirieren, darunter die Jahrestagung der European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology mit rd. 8.000 Teilnehmern.
Zudem erfreute sich das ICM 2012 unter Münchner Großunternehmen einer hohen Beliebtheit nicht nur für Hauptversammlungen, sondern auch für hochwertige Corporate Events wie Firmenjubiläen (SIXT) oder Markteinführungen (AUDI A3).

In 2012, the ICM was also extremely popular among major Munich corporations both for annual meetings and for first-rate corporate events such as company anniversaries (SIXT) and product launches (AUDI A3).
