In today’s meeting, Dillinger Hütte’s supervisory board agreed on the construction of a new secondary exhaust emission control system in the steel mill, costing 27.5 million euros.
Thanks to this investment in the environment, the requirements of the new TA Luft (German regulation covering air quality requirements) can be met and the corresponding limit values for dust (20 mg/m3) can be observed while maintaining operational safety.

Der Aufsichtsrat der Dillinger Hütte hat in seiner heutigen Sitzung dem Bau eines neuen Sekundärabgasreinigungssystems im Stahlwerk für eine Investitionssumme in Höhe von 27,5 Millionen € zugestimmt.
Durch diese Umweltinvestition werden die Auflagen der neuen TA Luft erfüllt und die entsprechenden Staubgrenzwerte (20 mg/m3) betriebssicher eingehalten.
