Here, Atlantic species, such as the bog myrtle ( Myrica gale ) and the cross-leaved heath ( Erica tetralix ) coexist with boreal species, such as the marsh Labrador tea ( Ledum plaustre ) and the marsh cinquefoil ( Comarum palustre ).
