For the following words, it doesn't matter if we use the infinitive or the gerund – their meaning will remain the same.

tener + que + Infinitiv (persönliche Form) im Sinne von ich muss/du musst/er muss/…

tener + que + infinitive (personal form) in the sense of I must/you must/he must/…
Example:

espanol.lingolia.comConstruction
We conjugate the verb ir in the presente and use the actual verb in the infinitive.

Adverbien, die sich auf ein Infinitiv beziehen, stehen nach dem Infinitiv.

Adverbs that refer to an infinitive come after the infinitive.

In colloquial speech, we also prefer the würde form (würde + infinitive) for many strong verbs as well.

Handelt es sich beim Verb um einen Infinitiv, ein Gerundium oder einen bejahenden Imperativ, können wir das Reflexivpronomen an das Verb anhängen.

If the verb is an infinitive, a gerund, or a positive imperative, we can attach the reflexive pronoun directly to the verb.
