Meiner Meinung nach war die UDF zusammen mit dem Gewerkschaftsverband Congress of South African Trade Unions ( COSATU ) der effektivste Widerstand gegen das Apartheidsystem !
Als das Verbot des ANC aufgehoben wurde und die Apartheid langsam zu Ende ging, wurde die UDF aufgelöst.
