Im Gesetzgebungsverfahren zum Recast des ersten europäischen Eisenbahnpakets haben sich Rat und Europäisches Parlament im Juni 2012 auf einen Kompromisstext geeinigt.

Recast of the first railway package
In the course of the lawmaking process for the purpose of recasting the first European railway package, the European Council and the European Parliament agreed on a compromise text in June 2012.
www1.deutschebahn.comDie Modellbildung und Simulation zum Bohren mit Laserstrahlung zielt im Wesentlichen auf die Vermeidung von Recast auf der Bohrungswand für große Pulsdauern ( μs ) und die Vergrößerung der Bohrgeschwindigkeit für kleine Pulsdauern ( ps - ns ).
Durch die Analyse des Bohrens mit großer Pulsdauer können unterschiedliche Phänomene identifiziert werden, deren dynamisches Zusammenwirken die Bildung von Recast auf der Bohrungswand hervorruft und beeinflusst.
Für kleine Pulsdauern und große Intensitäten der Laserstrahlung sind zusätzlich die Trägheit der Schmelze, die Rekondensation des Dampfes und die Reflexion der Laserstrahlung an der Bohrungswand zu berücksichtigen.

By analyzing the drilling process at long (microsecond) pulse durations, the ILT researchers are able to identify various phenomena that act together to trigger and influence the formation of recast on the hole wall.
Additional factors that need to be taken into account when the laser is operating at short pulse durations and high intensity are the inertia of the melt, the recondensation of the vapor, and the reflection of the laser beam on the hole wall.

Neben dem Durchbohrzeitpunkt können weitere Qualitätsmerkmale wie Recast oder das Wiederverschließen einer Bohrung bestimmt werden.
Zusätzlich kann eine Regelung des Lasers zur Vermeidung von Rückwandschäden bei der Bearbeitung von Hohlkörpern realisiert werden.

It enables the operator to determine the breakthrough point and other factors affecting quality such as recast or closure of the hole.
The laser output can also be regulated to avoid damage to the rear wall when processing hollow parts.
