In Zusammenarbeit mit der Kinder- und Jugendklinik des Uniklinikums Erlangen untersuchten die FAU-Wissenschaftler im Rahmen der europaweiten Studie PreDicta, die die Zusammenhänge zwischen Atemwegsinfektionen und einer Verschlimmerung von Asthma erforscht, asthmatische Kinder im Alter von 4 bis 6 Jahren.
Dabei stellten Prof. Finotto und ihr Team ein erhöhtes Vorkommen von BATF fest.
