Die Europäische Union hat sich das Ziel gestellt, die bisher geltendenAusnahmebedingungen der Motorenverordnung ( EG ) 640 I 2009 weitereinzuschränken.
Dazu hatte sie im Verlauf dieses Jahres den Entwurf eines Amendments zur Verschärfung der Motorenverordnung vorgelegt.
ln der Sitzung des Regulierungskomitees am 12. Juli 2013 wurde die geplante Änderung der Motorenverordnung 640/2009 mit einer wesentlichen Änderung angenommen.

Der Entwurf des Amendments wird nun um eine Übergangsfrist von 6 Monaten nach Veröffentlichung im Amtsblatt der Europäischen Kommission ergänzt.
Das Amendment bedarf nun noch der formellen Zustimmung durch den Rat und das Parlament und wird - wie bereits zuvor durch die Europäische Kommission kommuniziert - im Herbst 2013 an einem fest definierten Tag im Amtsblatt veröffentlicht, so dass es mit einem Vorlauf von 6 Monaten Klarheit gibt, ab wann die Umstellung wirksam wird.
