Die Kommunen Meknès und Salé entwickeln in diesem Rahmen Aktionspläne zur Aufwertung ihrer Altstädte ( Medinas ).
Vordringliche Themen sind, neben der Sanierung und der Instandhaltung alten Mauerwerks, die Gestaltung öffentlicher Plätze sowie Möglichkeiten, die Zivilbevölkerung einzubeziehen.
Aufbauend auf ihrem Erfahrungsaustausch – und zusätzlich bereichert durch eine Studienreise nach Berlin und Lübeck im April 2013, die CoMun organisiert und finanziert hat – erarbeiten die Kommunalvertreter Positionspapiere, um ihre Interessen gegenüber dem zuständigen Ministerium zu vertreten.

Besides the renovation and maintenance of the old structures, the most pressing issues are the design of public areas and possibilities for involving the civilian population.
Building on their exchange of experience – and with the additional benefit of a study visit to Berlin and Lübeck in April 2013 organised and financed by CoMun – the municipal representatives are drawing up position papers to represent their interests vis-à-vis the relevant ministry.
