Vom Ausgangspunkt fährt man Richtung Bahnhof, hält sich im Kreisverkehr bei der 2. rechts über die Brücke, dann die erste links beim Zillertalbahn-Bahnhof vorbei, dann immer geradeaus zum Innsteg.
Der Anstieg, auf Teer, nach Rotholz ist steil - eine Einkehr beim Hotel Gasthof Esterhammer oder das letztmögliche Auffüllen der Trinkflasche am gegenüberliegenden Brunnen macht Sinn, denn auch anschließend bleibt's steil auf der MTB-Route 413 via Maria Brettfall (Aussichts-TIPP!) bis Schlitterberg (Einkehrmöglichkeit Jausenstation Martelerhof).

The ascent, on tarmac, is steep to Rotholz – a stop-off at Hotel Gasthof Esterhammer - the last possible chance to fill up your drinks bottle at the spring opposite – would be wise, since it’s steep afterwards too on the MTB route 413 via Maria Brettfall (viewing TIP!) to the Schlitterberg (opportunity to stop-off at the snack station at Martelerhof).
