24. August 2010 Auf einem Flug von Katmandu nach Lukla meldete der Pilot der AGNI Air ein technisches Problem mit dem Generator an Bord seiner Dornier Do 228 ( 9N-AHE ).
Zumal das Wetter auch noch schlechter wurde und durch den Ausfall des Generators nach Sicht geflogen werden musste, entschied sich die Besatzung zur Umkehr nach Katmandu.
Nur 18 Meilen südwestlich des Flughafens von Katmandu stürzte die Maschine ab.
