Bei der Erforschung, Ende des 19. Jh entdeckte man einen Affenschädel, der allerdings aus Jux vom Steinauer Apotheker dort versteckt worden war.
Vom Parkplatz an der Straße hat man noch ca. 10 min Fußmarsch steil den Berg hinauf vor sich.
