Dass die Erde sich wirklich dreht, obwohl wir das nicht spüren, zeigt in diesem alten Fahrstuhlschacht ein Foucaultsches Pendel (benannt nach dem französischen Physiker Léon Foucault, 1819—1868).

That earth rotates, although we do not sense that, can be seen in this old lift shaft by a Foucault’s pendulum (named after the French physicist Léon Foucault, 1819—1868).

Der ungenutzte Fahrstuhlschacht des Turmes beherbergt seit 2002 eine raumgreifende Installation.
