Strategische Ziele von ApPEC sind die Aktualisierung und Anpassung der " Roadmap for Astroparticle Physics " sowie die Mitarbeit an der europäischen Wissenschaftsstrategie zusammen mit Organisationen wie der European Strategy Session des CERN-Councils und dem ESFRI ( European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures ) .
