Während in den Blutinseln der Vesicula umbilicalis ausschliesslich Hämoglobin des Typs Hb Gower 1 ( z2e2 ) mit z- und e- Ketten gebildet wird, weist der reife Erythrozyt der hepatischen Phase vor allem HbF ( a2g2 ), dessen Globin a- und g-Ketten besitzt und das wichtigste fetale Hämoglobin darstellt.
