Gemeinsam stehen diese bis Mitte Dezember vor der Herausforderung, insgesamt 65.000 Schwellen sowie die Schienen bei Steigungen von bis zu 24 Promille auf rund 1.400 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel zu erneuern – eine echte Belastungsprobe für Mensch und Maschine.
Erst danach geht es pünktlich zu Weihnachten zurück nach Deutschland.
