After an ascent you will reach the Klooalm ( 1,100m ), where you can have a delicious Tyrolean alpine snack.
Continue your hike to the Hirzeggalm (1,552m) and follow the switchback.
At the highest point of the Spießnägel you will be rewarded with an utterly beautiful natural environment: alpenrose, meadow and forest flowers along the hiking path up to the bog lake on the plateau.
