When I first discovered this area last year, I instinctively knew I would come back, because it is very rare to find a spot where nature and man coexist in such harmony.

The small stables run by Jessica Stamm are wonderful.

I’m not a particularly good rider, but two of my horse-mad friends work in stables in the Locarnese district, so I’m fairly familiar with horses and riding.
