Love did the rest, and now I ’ve married a Parisian – and her city into the bargain !
Like every expat, I do miss certain things – especially the food, sunshine and sea – but actually I don’t have a great hankering after Naples, its daily chaos, the widespread disorganization and all the things Neapolitans complain about without doing anything about them.
I find Paris, on the other hand, very resident-friendly.

Wie jedem Emigranten fehlen auch mir bestimmte Dinge – vom Essen über das Meer bis hin zur Sonne – aber eigentlich habe ich keine große Sehnsucht nach Neapel, nach seinem täglichen Chaos, der umfassenden Desorganisation und all den Dingen, über die Neapolitaner klagen, ohne sie zu ändern.
Paris erlebe ich hingegen als sehr bürgerfreundlich.
