2 years after my uncle gave me plastic drums for my third birthday (if you believe in family stories he did this to get even with my dad who had a similar present for my cousin) I got a real drum kit and piano lessons.
One year later I had my first performance in public.

Nachdem mir mein Onkel zum dritten Geburtstag ein Plastikschlagzeug schenkte (glaubt man den Familiengeschichten, tat er dies, um sich an meinem Vater für ein ähnliches Geschenk dessen an meinen Cousin zu rächen), bekam ich ca. 2 Jahre später ein richtiges Schlagzeug und Klavierunterricht – offenbar hatte jemand in meinem Geprügel Muster entdeckt.
Ein Jahr später hatte ich meinen ersten öffentlichen Gastauftritt als Percussionist.

The donation consits of of six trumpets, two bass tubas, two French horns, one complete drum kit, a loudspeaker system and a keyboard at a value of about 8.000.-- Euro.
