Die vierte Ausgabe der Appellations Suisse stellt zehn Schweizer Kinofilme vor – darunter sieben Dokumentar-, zwei Spielfilme und einen Kurzspielfilm –, die die Schweizer Jahresproduktion reflektieren und repräsentieren (siehe beiliegende Pressemeldung).
Der 1964 von Alexander J. Seiler realisierte und in die Schweizer Filmgeschichte eingegangene Film «Siamo italiani» über Fremdarbeiter in der Schweiz, wird zusammen mit dem neuesten Film des Regisseurs «Il vento di settembre» gezeigt, in welchem Seiler das heutige Leben einiger seiner damaligen Protagonisten beleuchtet.

Seiler’s film “Siamo italiani” about “foreign workers” in Switzerland, which was made in 1964 and went down in the history of Swiss film, will be screened together with the director’s most recent film, “Il vento di settembre”, in which he provides a closer look at the current lives of several of the protagonists from the first film.
