Ausgangssituation Die Konsolidierung und Fortsetzung der Wirtschaftsreformen in den Ländern Südostasiens ist in hohem Maße auf die ausreichende Verfügbarkeit von qualifizierten Fach- und Führungskräften angewiesen, die diese Prozesse weiter vorantreiben.
Deshalb unternehmen die für Berufsbildung und Bildung verantwortlichen Ministerien und Institutionen in den Partnerländern große Anstrengungen, um Reformen voranzutreiben und die Berufsbildungssysteme zu modernisieren und kompetentes Personal dafür zu qualifizieren.

Context The consolidation and continuation of economic reforms in the countries of Southeast Asia depend to a great extent on having an adequate supply of qualified specialists and managers to drive the reform processes.
For this reason, the ministries and institutions responsible for vocational training and education in the partner countries are making great efforts to reform and modernise their technical and vocational education and training (TVET) systems, and to secure appropriately qualified staff to carry out these change processes.
